IT’S ALWAYS BETTER TO SHOP IN PERSON AT DALLAS VINTAGE SHOP.

However, we may be able to help some customers over the phone by providing limited Shipping Services. Creating elaborate costumes, which is our forte, is time consuming because you have unlimited options when shopping in house.  It is well worth the effort and time if you have to drive a long distance of fly to Dallas. Fulfillment of shipping orders may be denied due to costume complexities or shipping requirement policies.

HOW TO PLACE A SHIPPING ORDER at DALLAS VINTAGE SHOP:

  • We are not an online store.
  • We are not officially set up for online ordering.
  • However, once you have contacted us, our staff will work with you over the phone, through text, email or messaging.
  • Be ready to give us detailed descriptions and/or images of the outfit or outfits you will need.
  • We will need accurate sizes, so have that information before you call.
  • We are highly trained and can help you create any costume!
  • Prices and photos for our costumes or costume pieces will be exchanged by conversation and images sent back and forth between the customer and our sales staff. We will help you tweak your outfit until you are sure you are getting the costume that will amaze you.
  • Shipping Services may be temporarily suspended during Halloween, Peak Holidays or for other reasons.
  • Our Shipping Requirements are detailed below. Please read them carefully.

  • Dallas Vintage Shop reserves the right to deny business or Shipping Services to any persons at our own discretion. It may be determined that your costume request cannot be adequately fulfilled remotely, or because of our shipping restrictions.

Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days if we receive your approval within a timely manner. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. We  will only go to the shipping office once a day; if you are needing overnight shipping or a second run, an additional fee will apply.

Shipping Services may be temporarily canceled during Halloween, Peak Holidays or for other reasons.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Dallas Vintage Shop ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email or text once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Damages

Dallas Vintage Shop is not liable for any damaged, lost, or stolen products during shipping. If you experience delay or receive your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. You will need to sign an acceptance form before the items will be shipped.

A signature upon delivery or insurance can be requested at the expense of the customer.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

International Shipping Policy

We currently will ship outside the U.S. at the expense of the customer.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Since Dallas Vintage Shop is not listed as an online business, that ships across state lines, the regular Texas sales tax is required to be collected by us, for the Texas State Comptroller’s Office.

Dallas Vintage Shop is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

RECOMMENDATIONS: For proper fitting, please have the necessary measurements and sizes ready. All costumes and vintage clothing run differently. Remember that we don’t accept returns or exchanges.
